Project LOOK

Project LOOK is dedicated to fostering successful children while strengthening families and invigorating neighborhoods. Operating in low-income housing complexes, Project LOOK provides comprehensive academic, safety, and social services to the families who live there. Children from the school were invited to the M-C Ranch's Therapeutic Riding Program on Whidbey Island, just east of Seattle across the Puget Sound, for a day of good Western fun . The Program features a real-life western town complete with Hotel, Saloon, Post Office and, of course, Sherriff's Office and Jail! The buildings are all miniaturized to just the right size for kids playing. The children are also treated to a room full of costumes and given full reign to dress however they wish. With plenty of horses to ride and ranch hands helping out, the kids enjoy a truly fun and exhilarating experience.
